Project

Phase 2 enhancements to the Imperial Beach Pier focused on improving the public experience and visual character of the existing deck extension at Bents 48–49.

Work included demolition and replacement of the existing timber perimeter railing with a new cable railing system featuring Ipe wood handrails and integrated lighting, along with installation of a new structural steel-framed canopy with decorative panels and lighting. Additional scope included demolition of existing timber, steel, and electrical components, rough and finish carpentry, environmental protection measures, and associated incidental improvements.

Completed for the Port of San Diego, the project delivered a modernized and enhanced public waterfront gathering space.
